Full-Year Curriculum

What we learn in each class — Online Program in Chabad Philosophy & Torah Study

All classes are taught by AI teachers. There are no levels or tracks — every student learns at his own pace. The AI teacher teaches each student individually: explaining the text, translating, answering questions, and reviewing, so each one moves forward exactly as fast as he is ready to. Source materials are available for every class.

A hybrid school. Learning is online, but life is real: students daven at their local shul with a minyan whenever one is nearby (online guidance when there isn't), and every day includes an hour of sports — at home or outside.

One school, separate areas. A Boys' School and a Girls' School, plus adult tracks: Men's Learning and Women's Learning. Boys and men learn the full schedule including both Gemara sedarim; girls and women have Navi and Pirkei Avos as their main sedarim, with Chumash-Rashi, Halacha, Chassidus, maamarim, and Tanya for everyone.

Sports Hour Daily 9:00–10:00 · at home or outside

A healthy soul in a healthy body. At least one hour of physical activity every day, before davening — each student picks what works where he lives: soccer or running outside, bicycle, self-defense classes, or weightlifting at home with guided assistance.

The program provides guidance and structure — training plans, safety basics, and encouragement — so this hour is as real a part of the day as any seder.

Morning Chassidus Sun–Thu 11:45–12:30 · Fri: Chassidus on the Parsha

Text: Hayom Yom, and foundational concepts of Chassidus (the soul, bittul, simcha, hashgacha pratis, the purpose of creation).

A short daily learning to set the tone of the day — one entry of Hayom Yom plus one core concept, built up over the year into a complete map of Chabad thought. Fridays: Likkutei Torah / Torah Or on the weekly Parsha.

Year arc

Tishrei–KislevThe soul and its powers; Elul–Tishrei avodah; Yud-Tes Kislev and the story of Chassidus

Gemara B'Iyun Sun–Thu 12:30–14:45

Text: Maseches Bava Metzia, chapters 1–2 (Shnayim Ochazin & Elu Metzios).

The main learning seder. In-depth study with Rashi and selected Tosafos and Rishonim; the AI teacher walks each student through the sugya at his own pace, from guided reading with translation up to learning inside. Emphasis on how a sugya is built: the mishnah, the Gemara's questions, and the halachic outcome.

Year arc

Semester 1Perek Shnayim Ochazin — claims, possession, oaths
Semester 2Perek Elu Metzios — lost objects, returning property, honest dealing

Gemara Girsa Sun–Thu 15:45–16:30

Text: Maseches Brachos.

A faster-paced seder for fluency and breadth — reading the daf with Rashi, covering ground rather than depth. Goal for the year: complete the masechta and gain confidence reading a page of Gemara independently.

Chumash with Rashi Sun–Thu 16:30–17:15 · Fri 12:30 in depth

Text: The weekly Parsha with Rashi, following the Chitas cycle (the daily portion each day).

Daily: the day's aliyah with key Rashis, asking Rashi's classic question — "what is bothering Rashi?" Friday: the whole Parsha reviewed in depth with a Chassidic insight from the Rebbe's Likkutei Sichos. Over the year, students complete the entire Torah.

Practical Halacha Sun–Thu 17:15–18:00 · Fri: Hilchos Shabbos

Text: Shulchan Aruch HaRav / Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, taught practically.

Halacha for daily life — what to do and why, with the Alter Rebbe's reasoning. Fridays are always Hilchos Shabbos.

Year arc

Tishrei–KislevWaking, tzitzis, tefillin, davening; Chanukah
Teves–AdarBrachos on food and enjoyment; Purim
Nissan–SivanPesach and its preparations; Sefiras HaOmer; Shavuos

Maamarim / Chassidus Sun–Thu 18:30–19:30

Texts: Derech Mitzvosecha (Tzemach Tzedek) as the running text, plus the maamar of the season.

The evening depth class. Derech Mitzvosecha opens the door into real maamarim — the inner meaning of the mitzvos — with each student advancing at his own pace. Around key dates we learn the classic maamar of the day.

Tanya Sun–Thu 19:30–20:15

Text: Likkutei Amarim — Tanya, learned inside, slowly, with the classic commentaries and the Rebbe's explanations.

The spine of the whole program: the Alter Rebbe's map of the two souls, the beinoni, and the service of the heart. About 1–2 chapters per week, so every concept lands before moving on.
